Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) Catalytic Oxidation to Chlorine
Chlorine is an important basic chemical raw material, mainly used in the production of PVC, polyurethane intermediates (MDI, TDI, HDI, etc.) and other chlorine-consuming products. Our company HCl catalytic oxidation of chlorine, is in the presence of catalyst conditions, with air or oxygen oxidation of hydrogen chloride process. The reaction is carried out at 250~450 ℃ in the presence of a catalyst, and has a high conversion rate of ≥ 90% in a single layer, with good stability. And it has the characteristics of simple process, convenient operation and relatively low investment.
The application of this technique can reduce of Spent Acid contains Hydrochloric Acid, espeically for those company who can re-use Chlorine from HCl.
